Wilson’s Traviata (cond. Teodor Currentzis) and since 2012/13 member of the renowned
Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre, lyric soprano Nadezhda Pavlova is one of the most exciting
artists of her generation.
Her repertoire includes i.a. the roles of Violetta (Traviata), Lucia (Lucia di Lammermoor),
Donna Anna (Don Giovanni), Contessa (Le nozze di Figaro), Fiordiligi (Così fan tutte),
Konstanze (Die Entführung aus dem Serail), Marfa (The Tsar’s Bride), Micaëla (Carmen),
Zerbinetta (Ariadne auf Naxos), Musetta (La Bohème), Volkhova (Sadko), Gilda (Rigoletto),
Olympia (Les contes d’Hoffmann), Louisa (Betrothal in a Monastery), Adele (Die
Fledermaus), Marta (The Passenger), Sister Constance (Dialogues des Carmélites),
Cunegonde (Candide) as well as an extensive range of Lieder.
She has been invited to perform at the Salzburg Festival and Lucerne festival as well as at
major European opera and concert halls such as Bavarian State Opera, Zürich Opera House,
Hamburg State Opera, Grand Théâtre de Luxembourg, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg,
Konzerthaus Vienna, Kölner Philharmonie and Konzerthaus Dortmund. Since 2018/2019
Nadezhda Pavlova has been a guest soloist at the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia.
In 2021 Nadezhda Pavlova made a phenomenal debut at Salzburg Festival as Donna Anna in
Romeo Castellucci’s staging of Don Giovanni.
In 2022 Nadezhda Pavlova received strong praise for her debut at Hamburg State Opera in the
roles of Gilda and Donna Anna.
This season she made a critically acclaimed debut at the Bavarian State Opera as Konstanze
and at the Zürich Opera House as Violetta.
